Sewing came first in my college years when I would watch my cousin create an outfit to wear to an event on the same night!  WOW I thought, I can do that too — and I did. I have been creating clothing since my children were small and then I met my match. I decided to learn quilting and I had an excellent teacher who pushed me to think out of the box — and I loved it. Now my pieces are, for the most part, bright, modern, and a play on color. Smaller lap quilts and quilted wall hangings are my favorites. I worked with an interior designer for five years and created custom-made exquisite, wall hangings that hung from ceilings, covered living room walls and family room walls. My confidence spiked and brought me to where I am today.
